about seo migration services
About this practice
A small technical SEO practice working on website migrations for US companies. One named person, a published method, and no logo wall — for reasons set out below.
Most agency about pages are a trust exercise built from logos, headcounts and round numbers. This one is a scope document instead: what the practice does, what it refuses, and what you can check before deciding.
What this practice does
One thing: protecting organic search traffic through website migrations. Replatforms, domain changes, URL restructures, HTTPS moves, site consolidations and CMS moves, plus the separate problem of moving between SEO tools.
The work is specification and verification. Your engineering team implements; this practice produces the redirect map, the parity diff and the launch runbook, and holds the technical gates. The process page sets out how that runs phase by phase.
What this practice does not do
Worth stating plainly, because it saves everyone a call.
- Ongoing SEO growth retainers. Content strategy, link acquisition and month-over-month growth work are somebody else's engagement.
- Implementation. We do not write or deploy your redirect rules. The specification is ours; shipping is yours.
- Parallel workstreams at agency scale. There is a real capacity ceiling here. When a migration needs four people working simultaneously, an agency is the right answer and you will be told so.
- Paid media, CRO programs, or anything outside the migration window.
Why there are no client logos
Because there are none that can currently be shown with permission, and inventing them is not an option worth considering.
A logo wall assembled from companies who never agreed to appear on it is a misrepresentation. Traffic-recovery percentages presented without the underlying data are unverifiable by design. Star ratings marked up as aggregateRating on a service page are a documented structured-data violation with manual-action exposure.
What is offered instead is method you can inspect before hiring anyone: the complete checklist, the phase gates, and the engagement shape and floor. Ask any other provider for the same three things.
How to tell whether this is a fit
Run the diagnostic on the homepage. It takes an afternoon, uses tools you already have, and produces a number: how many of your traffic-carrying URLs have no named destination on the new site.
If that number is zero, your migration risk is mostly operational and you may not need outside help at all. If it is not, you have something specific to talk about rather than a general worry — and that makes any provider conversation, including this one, substantially more useful.
| Conventional signal | Status here | What is offered instead |
|---|---|---|
| Client logos | None published | References shared under NDA on request, with client permission |
| Case study metrics | None published | The full method, published openly and checkable |
| Star ratings and reviews | None, and none will be marked up | A named author and a stated scope you can hold us to |
| Years in business | Not claimed | Work you can assess directly rather than a tenure figure |
| Team size | Small, and stated as a limitation | A referral to an agency where scale is what you need |
| Certifications | None claimed | A published process any competent practitioner can evaluate |
Questions people ask before starting
Who would I actually be working with?
One person, named in the byline on every page of this site. That is the practice's main advantage and its main limitation: direct access with no account layer, and a real capacity ceiling. Both are stated up front rather than discovered later.
Why is there no team page?
Because there is no team to put on it. Inventing one would be the same category of problem as inventing clients. If an engagement needs more capacity than one person provides, the honest response is a referral rather than a subcontract you were not told about.
Can you provide references?
Where a client has agreed in writing, yes, shared privately rather than published. References that appear on a website without permission are a misrepresentation, and testimonials nobody can verify are worth roughly what they cost to produce.
What geographies do you work with?
The United States. Working hours, examples, currency and business norms across this site are US-anchored. International migrations are handled where the company is US-based, including the [hreflang side](/migrations/international-hreflang/) of multi-region sites.
